Holistic Healing Modalities
Jin Shin Jyutsu
Jin Shin Jyutsu, translated as the “Art of the Creator through the person of compassion” is a gentle form of Japanese acupressure that seeks to restore balance to the body’s natural energy flow patterns. Illness, injury, and stress can cause energy to become disharmonized causing a wide variety of symptoms and ailments. By gently applying hands on different areas of the body in a specialized pattern, energy is stimulated to reawaken and move harmoniously through the energy pathways. Sessions generally last about an hour and are done over clothing.
Vicki can instruct you in the self-application of Jin Shin Jyutsu for daily practice. This improves the impact of treatments and empowers clients to learn how to harmonize their own energy, relieve symptoms, and increase overall health and vitality.
To learn self-care, you can incorporate teaching into your individual sessions, or you can attend a 2 hour introductory workshop. For more in-depth study, a series of classes is offered. For pricing and class schedules in Sarasota, please contact Vicki directly.
Reiki - Usui Style (Master Level)
Usui Reiki is a Japanese healing art that allows universal life energy to flow to the recipient, harmonizing mind, body, and spirit. The life energy of Reiki is absorbed only where it is needed, and helps to restore balance and increase energy while promoting relaxation.
Energy Center (Chakra) Balancing
The 7 energy centers (also known as “chakras “) in the body are distinct areas that start at the top of your head and end at the bottom of your spine. They regulate all parts of your bodily system, influencing everything from emotional processing to resistance to disease.
The practice of energy center balancing Vicki uses in her work is to start with an assessment of all 7 energy centers and determine their alignment and strength. Then she works individually on each energy center sending Reiki healing to strengthen and balance the areas.
During energy healing sessions spiritual information/guidance is often forthcoming, allowing for a deeper healing experience. Vicki is simply the conduit through which information is imparted. This service is offered to anyone receiving energy healing as part of the session and there is no extra charge. It is also completely voluntary and information is only shared with those interested in receiving it. Vicki is not a practicing psychic, nor medium, but rather shares information as she receives it.
Health & Lifestyle Education
Vicki is a certified Lifestyle Educator and teaches her clients self-management skills. This may include basic nutrition, exercise programming, and stress management tools such as Jin Shin Jyutsu self-application, guided visualization and breathing exercises.
Vicki incorporates aromatherapy into her healing sessions for those who are interested. Aromatherapy is a holistic healing treatment that uses natural plant extracts to promote health and well-being. Sometimes it's called essential oil therapy. Aromatherapy uses aromatic essential oils medicinally to improve the health of the body, mind, and spirit. It enhances both physical and emotional health.
